JOHN WATKISS

John Watkiss started his education in the south of England, 1979 Brighton University of the Arts. After graduating 3 years later with a BA first class honors in fine art and illustration, John moved to London to work in the advertising industry for Saachi & Saachi Advertising Agency. After 12 years of storyboarding TV commercials he moved to the graphics novel field working for DC Comics Sandman, Batman, Conan, James
Bond, Etc. In 1994 worked as production designer on Francis Ford Coppollas "Pinocchio"In 1995 went to Disney to do development on Tarzan, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Emperor's New Groove, etc. 2002 paints mural for the Ford Motor Company Museum , Detroit. 2003 works on feature Captain sky and the World of tomorrow ( storyboards & key frames) 2003-2006 works on comics from DC/Vertigo , Trigger (8 pt. series), currently working on DeadMan (ongoing series).
